Mono Oval is a late design by Peter Raacke, introduced in 1982. Its oval handle is filled with sand before the heads are set in, which gives each piece a noticeable weight and a balanced feel in the hand. The polished finish is bright without being ornate.
All pieces are stainless steel 18/10; knife blades are hardened blade steel. Everything is dishwasher safe. The series received awards from Haus Industrieform Essen and Design-Center Stuttgart in 1984 and Design-Plus Frankfurt in 1985. Pieces range from table spoon to cake fork.
